Application
a.It is used as cleaning agent and corrosive for oxide and silicate film on the surface of metal, cleaning agent for aluminum and alloy before electroplating.
b.Its 2.5% solution is used to electropolish pure aluminum, remove welding agent from metal base and rewashing solution of electroplated parts.
c.It is also used as catalyst in alkylation and polymerization, corrosive inhibitor, chemical reagent and as material to produce fluoboric salt.
